Grace by which I stand - Keith Green

Sidan eit av dei vakraste orda på jorda, er ordet "nåde", og sidan dette også er eit av dei viktigaste, syns eg det er berre rett og rimeleg å gje plass til dette ordet - midt i kvardagen! For Gud møter oss ikkje berre med sin nåde søndag formiddag i kyrkja. Han ynskjer å gå med oss kvar dag, og gje av sin nåde. Akkurat der vi er.

Eg høyrer mykje på musikk frå artistar som ynskjer å formidle den kristne bodskapen. Tema i songane famnar breidt, men ordet nåde er ofte med i heilskapen. Og somme tider treff ein på songar som rett og slett handlar om nåden.

Eg vil under fana "Nåde midt i kvardagen" presentere ein del av desse songane. Først ut er ein "klassikar" frå 1980. Songen er henta frå Keith Green si plate "So you wanna go back to Egypt". Det er igrunn litt ekstra fint å finne ein song om nåde på dette albumet, for Green delte faktisk plata ut gratis etter konsertane sine. Og er det ikkje akkurat det nåde handlar om - det å få noko, ikkje ei plate, men tilgjeving, heilt gratis?
